Join the Friends of Point Arena Stornetta Lands and the Bureau of Land Management for cupcake and festivities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the the first onshore unit of the California Coastal National Monument on May 18. Speaker include Congressman Jared Huffman  and others instrumental in protecting these special lands. Also going on will be, free admission to Point Arena Lighthouse Fog Signal Building Museum, wild flower, estuary bluffs and cultural guided walks.  A seals in the ebb and flow talk.  Festivities begin at 10 a.m. at Point Arena City Hall, 451 School Street. A shuttle will be running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., allowing participants to walk the entirety of the five-mile trail in one direction and get a ride back to their vehicle.
