Writing Fiction: Focus on Elements of Craft

The Mendocino Art Center is offering a one day fiction writing workshop, focus on the following elements of the craft of writing fiction: dialogue, setting, characterization, language, and point of view. They will use middle grade and young adult mentor texts and guided writing exercises to discuss and practice each element. Participants will have an opportunity to share writing they generate in the workshop. The workshop is open to both teens and adults and beginning and experienced writers.
