In the film,  The Graduate, Dustin Hoffman is urged is get into the plastic business. Then no one was aware of the disasters plastics will wreak on the planet.   Because artists have the capacity to raise awareness about such issues and transform garbage into art work, the “You Made That with Plastic? Turning Trash into Treasures” exhibit will provoke, amuse, educate, and inspire us to rethink our own consumption habits. April 12 the Gualala Arts Center invites you to this shows opening.
