Join historian and author Dot Brovarney for a reading from her publication Mendocino Refuge: Lake Leonard & Reeves Canyon. This book explores the cultural and natural history of one upper Russian River watershed, weaving together the lives of its old growth redwoods, wildlife, and human inhabitants. The reading will highlight conservation efforts by several women who, over generations, were responsible for saving old growth in the canyon and at the lake.  At the Fort Bragg Library on Saturday April 27 at 2pm
