Grow Biointensive is a closed-loop system which requires less outside inputs once established.
A tour of The Jeavons Center Mini-Farm will be held on Sunday, October 13,in the mountains outside Willits CA (map provided when you register) and the tour begins at 9 AM and ends at approximately 4 PM. A tour of the garden and discussion and several classes on Planning/Philosophy; an Herb Walk; Composting and Soil Composition; and Garden Growing Bed Preparation; Registration is $25 per person ($15 for members or those who join at registration). Space is limited, and online registration for the tour closes Oct 6. We welcome children ages 10 or older, please consider whether they will truly enjoy the experience when deciding if you want to bring them. Please leave your pets at home. Bring your own lunch to enjoy in the garden.

Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited. We recommend that you bring a bag lunch, hat and water bottle. Please wear hiking boots or shoes with good tread as our garden is located on a steep hill and visitors will walk the equivalent of 25 flights of stairs to reach all parts of our garden.
