eBird Tutorial by Matt Franks
December 8 @ 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm
FreeThe nation’s longest-running community science bird project, the Christmas Bird Count, fuels Audubon’s work throughout the year. The Christmas Bird Count occurs December 14 to January 5 every season and you can be a part of the project. On December 8, Matt Franks will lead a half hour tutorial on using eBird for the Christmas Bird Count, starting a 6:30pm, before the slide show begins. eBird is a great alternative to paper checklists, is much easier to deal with in the field, and makes data instantly accessible. This is a zoom only event, details at Mendocino Coast Audubon website
