The Mendocino Art Center invites you to a unique discussion with local artist and master craftsman Joe Cooper as he explores the idea of “Reclaiming Woke.” Drawing on his decades of experience as a woodworker, educator, and community builder, Joe will invite us to rethink this often-misunderstood term and reflect on how awareness and inclusivity can drive positive change. Don’t miss this chance to hear from a passionate voice blending artistry, activism, and local connection. The gallery reception will this Saturday starting at 5pm, with the Artist Talk at 6:30
