Ocean Wave Quilters issued members a challenge to make 18” x 18” quilts of Mendocino’s iconic buildings and they are now on display at the Kelley House Museum though the end of August.  In this display, history meets art, with 26 iconic buildings are brought to life on quilt squares, including the Temple of Kwan Tai, the Presbyterian Church, the MacCallum House, the Mendocino Hotel, and the Kelley House Water Tower. Each building is colorfully quilted onto 18” x 18” squares by members of the Ocean Wave Quilters. The Kelley House quilt square will be available for silent auction during July as a fundraiser. Select squares are available for purchase, email info@kelleyhousemuseum.org The museum is open Friday – Sunday, 11am – 3pm
