Pastels on the Plaza is on May 4 at Ukiah’s Alex Thomas Plaza. Art, charity, music, business, and community bring the whole town together in this celebration of Spring. Featuring May Day dances, local entertainment and music, and beautiful artwork all around the plaza. Pastels on the Plaza goal is to  raise money for the children of River Oak Charter School to help offset the price of educational field trips. Sidewalk squares around the plaza are purchased by local businesses and local artists fill those squares with unique pieces of chalk art that remain in the plaza for many weeks.
