Keeping Heirloom Seeds In Our Gardens

Saving and sharing seeds can help you become more self-sufficient and independent, can help you build meaningful relationships with your friends and neighbors, and will empower you to participate in building a stronger and more secure food system, by growing heritage seeds, land races and endangered plants. All local gardeners are invited participate in local seed sharing events by coming to take seeds from others and if possible – offering seeds they’ve saved from their own gardens. There will be scions (grafting branches for fruit trees) at some events. Just show up & Bring any seeds you are not going to plant out, and give them to someone else. Seed sharing events are schedule all around the county
